TIPS FOR PACKING & SHIPPING YOUR PAINTING

Please send the artwork unframed.

Otherwise, we can remove it and re-frame afterward, for a modest charge.

If you use a professional shipping service:

Include the Service Request in the box with your painting.

Specify that they protect the front and back of the artwork with sheet plastic

or a plastic bag and cardboard before wrapping in bubble-wrap.

The padded artwork should then be placed in a shipping box.

Self-packing:

Place the painting into a plastic bag.

Cut two pieces of cardboard the same size as the painting.

Tape the cardboard securely to cover the front and back of the artwork.

Fill out the Service Request form and tape it to the wrapped painting.

Place the protected painting into a box which is 3" larger than the painting in all directions

and surround it with packing material

(bubble wrap or wadded paper works fine, as long as there is padding on all sides.)

Note:  Mirror Boxes available from many pack & ship stores (UPS, Fedex, etc. work well for paintings.

Consult the stores for the proper size for your artwork.
